Shot by Kenny McCracken in Create’s Studios One and on location in Brighton, Patchouli is the tale of a girl form a broken home who dreams of digging her way to China.
THe film has been entered for the Virgin Media Shorts, a nationwide competition to find emerging talent, where entries have to be not a second longer than 2 minutes 20 seconds. The shortlist of 12 films which are shown across independent cinemas across the country is normally selected by the panel of curators, but this year a 13th spot has been added for the film chosen by the public.
