Eleni Mettyear – Temporary migration

Create publishing has just released the first publication by Eleni Mettyear.
“Temporary migration” is a 32 page, all colour, perfectly bound book which is a collection of portraits and images taken over a six month period in 2011 whilst Eleni was travelling across Nepal, India, Thailand, Laos and the Gili Island.

Eleni has produced a beautiful body of work, shooting in a carefree manner but with subtle and clear direction. Eleni’s skill is such that she creates an idyllic world, adding her own subtle styling flourishes, where inhibitions are lost and her subjects free themselves up to her camera in an entirely endearing natural way to combine both a fashion feel and intimate portraiture.

Copies of Temporary Migration are available for £7 from Create publishing.

You can read an interview with Eleni about the zine at Dazed Digital.
